Intellect? Or Emotion?

When a person is governed more by intellectual decisions than by emotional decisions they weigh the outcomes. The think of all the pros and cons of every decision they have to make and they make the decision based on what has the most pros. This person thinks logically and takes the future into consideration instead of making spontaneous decisions on the spot.
An emotional person would most likely make decisions spontaneously based on how they felt at that moment in time and not consider the future in their decisions. They tend to be very emotional and develop attachments to people or even their work and because of these attachments they are sensitive to change. This make decision making hard to do, especially if it deals with what they are attached too.
The positives that come from being governed by intellectual decisions is in the long run their future is most likely going to go how they want it because they considered their future in the decisions they make. The negative consequences of relying on intellect is always making decision with intellect might not make them happy all the time. Therefore overtime they may become sad and not be able to develop attachments to people, depriving them from ever getting married or having a social life.

Having a companion or love is a major part of survival and the human experience because that is how a person discovers who they are. Without having people together that person is not going to figure out what kind of person they are. They would never know if they were selfish, compassionate, selfless, kind, extroverted, or introverted. All these things would be a question they could never get the answer to, unless they had some sort of social interaction.
Another major reason is to share all their feelings and accomplishments with. When people do not have someone to talk to they tend to get very depressed because they can not share the feelings they have inside. If they keep everything inside their feelings bottle up and they can not establish credibility for themselves. By sharing accomplishments this is the foundation of conversation and their personality.
The third reason companionship is an important part of the human experience is because we need to continue the human race. Without a man and a women being in a companionship the human race would extinct. Also, with companionship comes intimacy. Almost every human being craves some sort of intimacy whether it is with family or even their comapanion. Without having this kind of relationship brings on envy and envy can really set a person into depression because they could not experience normal human nature.

No one can be happy without a friend, nor be sure of a friend until he is unhappy.

. Rejection .

I think I am safe when I say that everyone has been rejected in some kind of way during their lifetime. Whether this was from a job, friends, groups, sports teams, your family etc. and I have never heard from someone that it feels good to be rejected. Well this is.. because it doesn't feel good at all! Wanting to be accepted in society is human nature. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be accepted either, however being accepted does not give the permission to be anyone other than ones self. Many people make that mistake especially teens. Teens are known to give into something called peer pressure. Peer pressure is the iinfluence that comes from members of one's peer group. Peer pressure could lead to so many negative things but also good things as well. It just depends on the scenario.....

( **So in high school there are the very well known cliques. There is the popular group that consists of the jocks, cheerleaders, and skaters. Then there are the not so popular cliques like the drama club, the nerds and the academics club.**)
So if there is a new girl that started going to the school . She most likely is going to get rejected in some of these cliques. With this scenario there are stereotypes that are involved and peer pressure too. Stereo types play a large role in rejection because people separate each other in groups that they say fit them. A stereotype is a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image of a particular type of person. For some teens this means striving to reach for their expectations they set as a group. This is wear peer pressure gets involved with rejection. If say the new girl does not live up to the stereo type of the cheerleaders she will get rejected from that group.

This can effect a persons' self esteem greatly in negative ways. The emotional tole someone can go through because of rejection might surprise some people. Rejection can lead to depression, being suicidal or even death. Everyone hears stories about bullying and rejection and how it lead to death for many teens. The power of rejection can make teens feel, alone, betrayed and worthless and stereotypes and peer pressure intensify the chances of these things happening. That's why i believe we should be like Christ and open up our arms for everyone!

As simple as that!

Defining personal responsibility depends on each individual and their idea of what responsibility is. Personal responsibility has a few very important aspects. One important aspect is understanding the definition of play and work. (Now in some cases responsibility does not have to be considered work) It is about doing the things that NEED to be done FIRST, and doing the things you WANT to do LAST! Another important aspect is getting to know what personal responsibility is. As people progress in age they acquire more responsibility then when they were a child. This distinguishes a lot of young adults from being a child and becoming an adult. Everyone should know personal responsibility because most of the time it leads to accomplishments and success.

When something bad happens and it involved you, exactly when do you know to take some responsibility for it? I believe this depends on the situation itself, however if a situation arises and there is a negative outcome and a person were there they would need to take some responsibility for it regardless. If they were even just a bystander in the situation and they knew the people involved and did nothing to try and stop what happened, the moral thing would be to take some responsibility in the result. Many bad situations can be prevented it just takes someone with a head on there shoulders and a smart brain in their head to prevent it. It does not take alot to stop a situation from progressing. So my advice is people need to be smart and if something bad happens own up and take responsibility for it. Simple as that!

Responsibility is a touchy subject to some people especially if there is pressure or stress that is involved with it. It can definitly effect people who have too much responsibility to even bear. So even though Responsibility is very very very important people need some leisure time as well. So do not procrastinate with all your work and then lighten up and have some fun. (:

Exploration and Perserverance .

There are so many ways that people throughout the ages have explored the unknown. From the courageous and audacious people who traveled beyond the limits to find new land and meet inspiring people. To the minor leagues whose definition of exploring the unknown is to eat at a new restaurant that opened in their home town. No matter who the person is or their level of courage everyone has explored their personal experience of the unknown.
Without the amazing discoveries of these people we would not have the necessities we do today. Without the brilliant mind of Thomas Edison we may not have the light bulb and without the bravery of Martin Luther King brother and sister would still be divided amongst race. These people have devoted themselves to a life of exploration and discovery through perserverance.
Perserverance makes the explorers steadfast in accomplishing their goals despite the difficulty or delay in achieving their success.Whenever a person devotes their life to anything, sacrifices have to be made. Different sacrificies are made depending on the situation the person is in. Explorers may have to sacrifice time with family by devoting themselves to their profession or even sacrifice the time for themselves. Almost every human being knows what it is like to make a sacrifice for something they deeply care about.
